As part of strengthening the Local Government Resource Center of DILG Cebu and as a way of giving back to the community, Provincial Director and Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Cebu member Atty. Ian Kenneth Lucero shared his knowledge and expertise on the Revised Katarungang Pambarangay Law to the barangay officials, Lupong Tagapamayapa members and residents of Sogod, Cebu.
Lucero was among the resource speakers during the IBP Cebu Lecture Series, which was part of the organization’s legal aid and medical mission in the municipality today, October 23.
IBP Cebu lawyers, headed by their Chapter President Atty. Cheryl Pamela Condat, also simultaneously offered free legal services, including notarization and drafting of affidavits, to the residents of the municipalities of Catmon and Carmen.
