Bohol Chronicle: The League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) elected two city mayors in the Visayas to occupy positions in the association composed of city mayors.
Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia was elected national executive vice president with City Mayor Dan Lim as vice president for the Visayas.
The league elected San Fernando City Mayor Oscar Rodriguez as president while Caloocan Mayor Enrico Echiverri was chosen chairman during elections held in Pasay City last July 17.
Other officers elected were Calapan's Paulino Leachon, vice chairman; Candon's Allen Singson, vice president for Luzon, Pagadian's Samuel Co, vice president for Mindanao, and Valenzuela's Sherwin Gatchalian, vice president for National Capital Region.
