President-elect Benigno â€œNoynoyâ€ Aquino IIIâ€™s controversial sister Kris Aquino-Yap is promising committee chairmanships and other perks to senators who will support Sen. Francis â€œKikoâ€ Pangilinanâ€™s bid for the Senate presidency.

This was bared on Monday by sources who declined to be identified. Efforts, however, to get the side of Kris proved futile. Her phone could not be reached while she did not respond to text queries.

Pangilinan, a Liberal Party stalwart, is up against LP colleague Senator-elect and former Senate President Franklin Drilon and Nacionalista Party president Sen. Manuel Villar Jr.

The celebrity actress is said to have firmed up the commitment of three senators â€“ Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada, Senators Manuel â€œLitoâ€ Lapid, and Ramon â€œBongâ€ Revilla Jr.

According to the source, Kris promised Lapid and Revilla that their committee chairmanships will be retained under Pangilinanâ€™s watch.

Lapid is currently handling the Committee on Sports, Games, and Amusement, while Revilla is chairman of the Committees on Public Services and Public Works.

P.S. I told you so... before Noynoy was elected president.

Read the story first and you'll find there is something wrong here.

If you are a relative of a high-ranking official, decency states that you have to stay away from voting decisions like this one: election of senate presidency. It is also called "delikadeza."

If it is true, then bad. If it is not true, then good.

But the heart of the argument is not whether it is true or not because we already know that if it is not true, then it is good.

The real issue is whether it is good or bad that a relative (or sister) of a president should involve in electing a senate president. This is the heart of the argument.

rightly so. kay kun tinuod, si kris gyod ang makaguba sa presidency sa iyang igsoon. ang tulo pa ra ba gyod ka way pulos nga mga artistang senador mao kintahay ang iyang giunag dani. ambot ba tawon ning bayhana nga mother's heartbreak child man gyod intawon ni siya oy.

hopefully, this isn't true. this smells rotten, i hope it's just a rotten fish and not the real fish.
