The
Philippine Councilor's League Bohol chapter president board member Ariel Lungay formally announces the schedule for the provincial congress and the election of new set of officers come August 13-14 at the Bohol Plaza Mountain Resort in Dauis town, this province.
This development came following the PCL chapter meeting last Wednesday at Jj's Seafoods Village this city, where board member Lungay formally announced the date of election, in consultation with the PCL Region VII and national board.
The registration is pegged at P2,400.00 to cover the expenses incurred in the two-day activity. Current members must pay their respective term dues of P4,000.00 and new members must pay P1,000.00 as membership fee together with P200.00 fee for PCL ID and must submit 1x1in colored picture. The payment of term dues is required for members to qualify to participate in the election.
The election will be supervised by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bohol and will be observed by incumbent PCL national president Ronald Calcillar and PCL national chairman Allan Zulueta.
BM Lungay encouraged members to attend and participate in the said event as this is essential in establishing a strong and sustained development for the organization.
"We hope to achieve maximum attendance and participation in congress and election. These are vital in the success of the activity," BM Lungay said.
Some 482 PCL members which included municipal councilors, Liga ng mga Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) presidents will determine the new face and name of the PCL president of Bohol.
