TINGNAN: UNANG ARAW NG LIBRENG SAKAY SA EDSA BUSWAY SA ILALIM NG SERVICE CONTRACTING PROGRAM, UMARANGKADA NA!
METRO MANILA — Bilang tugon sa direktiba ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade na magbigay ng karagdagang tulong sa ating mga Healthcare Workers (HCW) at Authorized Persons Outside of their Residences (APOR) upang makarating sa kani-kanilang mga trabaho, nagsimula na ngayong araw, ika-7 ng Abril 2021 ang pagbibigay ng mga Public Utility Bus (PUBs) sa EDSA Busway ng LIBRENG SAKAY para sa medical frontliners at APORs.
Mananatiling bukas ang LIBRENG SAKAY para sa mga HCWs at APORs hanggang mai-lift ang Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) sa Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal.
Kapit-bisig naman ang DOTr, katuwang ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), Land Transportation Office (LTO), InterAgency Council for Traffic (IACT), Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG), at Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) para sa mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng health protocols sa pampublikong transportasyon.
Maliban sa mga free ride ng mga pampasaherong bus ngayong ECQ, patuloy pa rin ang mga jeepney, na nakapailalim sa Service Contracting Program, sa pagbibigay ng free ride sa mga APOR sa 51 routes sa NCR at iba pang karatig na rehiyon. I-click lamang ang link na ito para sa mga ruta:
