MANILA - From a candidate for Chief Justice, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima found herself a new role when she led Cabinet members in singing “Betcha By Golly, Wow†during a memorial service held at the Palace last Saturday.
“You may not have been our Chief Justice but you are certainly our chief conductress,†Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda ribbed de Lima after a quick rehearsal.
“And that is a higher privilege,†de Lima replied. --
