JUST IN: The Department of Health announced that it has bought 1 million sets of Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) worth P1.8 billion for COVID-19 health workers.
Each set has head gear, goggles, N95 mask, gloves, apron and gown. DOH is still awaiting the delivery of the PPE sets. Health care workers in public hospitals will be prioritized for distribution but DOH said it will also provide PPEs for private hospitals and other hospitals outside Luzon.
