what arrogance. this guy achieved name recall (and thus, a senate seat) because he was also active when he was a congressman in the failed impeachment of a previous cj, hilario davide. (the same holds true with chiz escudero.) now we have 2 cayetano siblings in the senate (the children of the late rene cayetano who also became a senator after he came out in the national consciousness as a pro bono lawyer of alleged rape victim actress pepsi paloma in the 1980s; the case went nowhere. cayetano was allegedly paid by the suspects. another current senator's name figured out in that case, that of tito sotto.) ugh. some skeletons in the closet can rattle now and then.
no, this is far from political maturity. it's political opportunism. thanks to us, idiots as voters who vote for entertainers.
