The people of the Philippines have spoken. In fact, an overwhelming and historic figure of 75% (estimated) of voters participated in the first automated elections in the country. And the prayers made to the heavens were heard as it was also generally an honest, orderly and peaceful elections.

Congratulations are in order to those who came out as victors in this elections. Go celebrate and savour the taste of victory before you buckle down to work. Remember your promise to deliver greatness and economic development to the people you vowed to serve. You will be made accountable for this later on.

Commiserations to those who are vanquished during the elections. Take it all up on the chin with great dignity. It is not meant to be this time. Go quietly to reflect and heal the wounds. Live to fight another day.

Supporters of both the victors and the vanquished, it is time to put this elections behind us. Hurtful and insulting words have been exchanged. Such is the cruelty brought about by our passion for political partisanship. It is enough to make rational beings irrational.

Let us therefore extend our hands to each other as a gesture of goodwill and reconciliation. Let us rally behind the victors as they embark towards fulfilling their promise to us their constituents. It is just the beginning. As to the opposing side, continue to do so and be "a thorn on the side to afflict the comfortable."

For now, it is time to take stock of things that have happened and re-charge for the next battle in a few years time.

Thanks, Jig, for this kind message to all TB followers who support all forms of politicians.

We may have different kinds of political views but our one intention, be in Bohol or outside,is just one: for the good of Boholanos in general.

For the winners, CONGRATULATIONS. After your celebrations, there's a lot of hard work to do and it's no laughing matter to see the plight

of many poor citizens.

For the losers, like me, municipal and province-wise, time to regroup and stay vigilant for what's to come.

With the new president, at least there is a BIG CHANGE, and there is BIG HOPE that things will come down in the pipe for better country in general.

Please let us continue the civilized exchange of opinions/views through the cyberspace.

At this point, pasalamat ko ni Mike, creator of this site for giving us the opportunity to express ourselves.

I hope this will continue for as long as needed.

Question for Mike: If someone donates for this site, does the money go to you directly or somewhere?

I just want to be sure the credit goes to you directly and help you maintain this site.
