Congratulations to my fellow Valencianhon, Dra. Concepcion "Inday Conching" Ong Lim, for making history as the first woman vice governor of the equally historic province of Bohol.

Prior to winning the race to become the province's highest elected official, Dra. Inday occupied various positions as follows:

Municipal Mayor of Valencia - 1988 to 1998 (undefeated)
Executive Vice President, League of Municipalities of the Philippines Bohol Chapter - 1992 to 1995
President, League of Municipalities of the Philippines Bohol Chapter - 1995 to 1998
National Treasurer, League of Municipalities of the Philippines - 1995 to 1998

Member, Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol - 1998 to 2007 (undefeated)
National President, League of Provincial Board Members of the Philippines

Barangay Captain, Canmanico, Valencia, Bohol - 2007 -present (unopposed)
President, Association of Barangay Captains - 2007 - present (unopposed)

add ko sa FB nmo... bitaw starting sa election campaign, dali ra kaayo mahuman ang adlaw para nako. sige lang katawa and ride on sa mga balita kay tambal pud sa mingaw bah. mao bitaw ming lie low ko og comment pag-ayo kay gibadlong ko sa mga friends nako og sa akong banana especially that they were Chatto's supporters hehehe

dili ko katubag nimo niana...base sa akong hearing sila maam grenie ug mga anak solid ni inday lim...seguro gipasagdan nga makasud si inday lim sa 2nd district kay wala man kaayo nabiyaan sa segundo distrito...grabe kwarta ni chatto, cajes and inday lim hilabi sa talibon P1000 per vote ilang guibuhian didto ma lakapa so maypr Item ug EBA...Anyway, nahuman na jud ang election...hope ang newly elected official mobalik sa ilang tagsa tagsa sa ilang trabaho nga gi-promise sa election nga mo selbe sa katawhan....ang mga kontra mag-uli sa ilang kabubot-on nga paghinagalaay...

Inday Conching's worthy opponents were Atty. Tomas Abapo (The provincial administrator) and Dr. Elpidio Jala (the retired DEP-ED Bohol Schools Superintendent),..t'was a hard fought battle...and the people have spoken...ato suportahan ug i-ampo ang atong mga lideres nga unta sila pagagiyahan sa ilang mga programa...ug kun kita naa mga plano nga sa huna-huna makatabang sa kadaghanan sa atong mga ka-probinsya...ato kining ipadayag sa atong katawhan aron mapasaka sa mga lideres mahimoan ug mas lalom nga pagtuon...ug maimplimentar alang sa tanan..

I am sad to have to pop your bubbles as of now it is not been yet confirmed who is the vice governor.... the Governor and other positions have been confirmed but as of now vice wapa confirmed wapa clamation untill now.....so slow your rows everyone....last canvassing i recall being done was Abapo was leading in most of the precincts but hopefully she did okay in her own district.

Okay I will confirm with colleagues because we are all waiting for the Vice Governor report on the island. Where did your dad get his information?

I have nothing against the winner or those who campaigned they are all nice in my eyes.

We need other confirmation and other reliable resources to give us the stats of the votes Grazie, does your dad have the over-all voting from Bohol? Your dad must be working in government to get the information so fast before those of us living here on the island.
