Yup, I don't think so too....not the DEP-ED, nor anybody had jacked up the price, This is what they call government pricing, actually suppliers are allowed by COA to raise the price up to a maximum of 40% of the prevailing market price... as to why and how this is allowed is beyond me? perhaps the COA or those interested has to ask COA, why? the COA actually has a ruling for this...This is a non-issue, which has been made an issue kay election lagi...in the hope of smearing the good names of candidates...both sides can dig into past purchases, and find out that all purchases are overpriced...mao na ila gitawag ug "government price"...ask any bidder or supplier...ang problema it is legal, and most of the time bidders simply form a cartel in an effort to make more money in profits.

Excuse me but you seem to forget it was Chatto who started all these problems. Even before Aumentado's time, he did the same to Governor Tirol - funds for the party of Tirol were diverted to Relampagos et al via the cohorts of Chato (na ang wife ani cohort naa na sad sa political scene). SO THIS IS NOTHING NEW WITH CHATTO'S PREDILICTION FOR MAKING HIMSELF LOOK GOOD WHILE ALL THE WHILE WORKING FROM THE BACK AGAINST SUPPOSED-ALLIES

Aumentado is just reacting properly to these actions of Chatto. You expect Aumentado to love Chatto after all that this guy has done?

He was trying to make it work despite Chatto's actions. Aumentado did not remove most of the casuals hired by Relampagos and Chatto during their terms. And what did these casuals do? They actually campaigned for Relampagos et al in 2004 too. But it did not work for Chatto's bestfriend in politics

but i digress

In any case, Aumentado gave CHatto the benefit of the doubt but I guess the trust was misplaced.
