Grab an ice cream dip
or a good alcohol sip
Please try not to flip
It may make no difference
cause life can still be a trip
This world is a real
whipper snapper
more or less like a bug zapper

We trade young stupid
for old cupid
That is if we survive that long
We learn to be strong
even as we sing our
happy or sad song
A love for life is
more appreciated
as we continue to get initiated
Finally we realize that
we have been captivated

That young whipper snapper
grows old and learns to
avoid the bug zapper
or he'll continue to be
knocked on his crapper
Even after we learn
love peace and happiness are
icons we still have to earn
