There is a songbird that I know of,
in the island of blue,
some where distant in this desert isle a few,
Silent, radiant, eloquent, deep in reverie.
I am but an observer,
frequent I do have the chance,
to chirp with the song bird.
Delicate,
is this songbird, dare I not impede,
yet am shaken in internal discourse to gaze upon this avian beauty.
For you see,
it really is quite rare,
quiet,
deep,
and spontaneous in action
that I dare not keep in wait.
She lays perched in her tree,
protected,
wings spread and chirping
and I on my feet.
Pray I ask take a glimpse,
you silly songbird, you.
Eloquent in silence,
thoust has taken in rapture.
I shall wait.
Patiently.
For this songbird,
has
is
will
be
my inspiration.
