Hi guys..im back. had a problem with my password... just retrieved now..
well. here's my take..
Letter To My Unwanted ChildSorry.
That night,
your father and I slept
like two needles
carefully kept inside
a cold blanket.
Our language was absent.
Everything felt so humorless-
without sensation, without haste.
The air was frozen,
but our breaths remain badly
eaten with time.
Our lips were perfectly still
in muted shadows,
kisses were cracked and scored
like broken potteries,
Stares were empty,
scratching slowly,
cutting
the scene of protective silence.
He came.
Then I sighed.
And the blanket was
folded into layers of
painful movements.
Then we yawned apart
like there’s a rift between us.
And everything was left
in segments of untold stories,
and the only word, which speech
couldn’t hide within,
was You.
But like a leaf,
in that cold midnight,
holding the right of your birth,
I shook you off my bough
like you were the last one to fall.
*I passed this poem to Ricardo de Ungria, my poetry 2 instructor.
hope he will like it...and you, too...
