Do you remember when?
When I would walk to Walker Annex and bring flowers to you,
to sneak into your room after midnight hours, for fear of the RA finding me,
sneaking int your room, seeing your smiling face, and opening your comforter for me.
And feeling the warmth of your legs on my thighs,
Feeling and hearing the rising of your chest on mine.

Do you remember when?
As I gazed into your eyes, your beautiful crystal green eyes,
as green as the clover of green ,
as green as the colors of Notre Dame
Do you remember my whispers into your ears?
My many sentimental messages?
Do you remember the notes I used to write to you?
I used to throw at you?

Do you remember when?
I used to swing dance with you
on Fridays, we would dress up to attend the swing club
the hotness of your feet, the speed of your feet,
as it complemented my steps and swing,
Do you remember? Yes?

Do you remember my kiss?
As I remember your warm sweet lips?
My dear love, I can still taste your lips, like the brisk morning of a spring dawn,
as the dew drops onto a budding tulip,
Yes, of course I do.

I do.
