Look at the architectural beauty of Manila. So beautifully built wasn't she? Old Manila reverberated the beauty of Old Spanish Architecture; and it is said that Manila's buildings and grid-patterns were molded after that of Madrid in Espana.
It is a pitiful shame that most of Old Manila and all of Intramuros were destroyed by the Great Pacific War. The Japanese were atrocious for their ill-respect of Filipino buildings and territory. They bombed and reduced most of Manila to ashes.
It is a total shame. Centuries-old buildings, bridges, and historical edifices were lost in that great war.
To the detriment of the Filipino and His Historical viewpoint.
