Love Knows Neither Limits nor Boundaries
When love begins most unexpectedly: PSSg Noriel Cabiles, 37 years old is deployed as R-PSB personnel at Sitio Kapatagan, Brgy. Gupitan, Kapalong, Davao del Norte last May 6, 2020. He is dedicated and has pledged to serve and protect the community. But Cupid has his way of colliding two people from two different worlds.
Sitio Kapatagan is a home of more or less 350 Ata-Manobos. Of the 350 members of the Ata-Manobo Tribe, a 22-year-old fine lady captured the heart of PSSg Cabiles. She’s a pure-blooded Ata-Manobo who is already in her 2nd-year college at Kapalong College of Agriculture and Science and Technology. Persistent to take the hands of Rodylyn Liban, PSSg Cabiles first courted the parents of Rodylyn. With his tenacious effort, Rodylyn accepted our police officer and welcomed him to the tribe. Love blooms and this coming October 17, 2020, the two will tie their knot at Manobo Baptist Community Church, Sitio Kapatagan, Brgy. Gupitan, Kapalong, Davao del Norte.
A wedding of the year despite differences in their beliefs and tradition, love works its way of uniting disparities. A proof that Ata-Manobo Tribe in Brgy. Gupitan started to trust others outside their realm and welcome them as part of their civilization. Indeed, love conquers all...
