The Flamenco developed in the 18-19th centuries and played a pivotal role in influencing the dances in the Philippines during the 18-19th centuries.

There are even styles in the Jotas of Manila and Cebu that can be seen in Flamenco

Both influenced each other.

Note, the use of the fan in flamenco was a direct influence of Filipino dance on the Spanish Flamenco.

Not everyone knows that, but a little tid-bid on the side never hurt anyone ;)
