Hi, my Best friend and I are going to the Philippines the 14th of April for two weeks. We will spend a day in Manila and then flying to Iloilo where we want to do some Island hopping and visit the best attractions in that area. Does anyone have any ideas of what islands, cities, and attractions (parks, beaches, activities etc) to go to. Bohol? Cebu? Negros oriental/occidental, Siquijor etc? Any ideas are welcome and appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Will,

If you are going to Iloilo, you will see a lot ! When you land to Iloilo International Airport, you can explore Iloilo city as well as the surrounding suburbs such as Santa Barbara, which is home to the Santa Barbara Church, one of the oldest churches in the Philippines. You can travel all around the province of Iloilo, to the north you can visit the beautiful Passi City; the drive there will be scenic and you can see the full breadth of the farms and the small payags that dot the scenery. To the east you can visit Dumangas, and if you continue on to the north, you can visit Aklan, Antique ! You can also even visit Boracay Island :)

There is so much to see when you land in Iloilo. And trust me, the food is really really good there. ;D

Ka nami gid sang kanon bala

When you are done visiting Western Visayas, then you can come visit Central Visayas. ;)
