Inauguration of President BBM Marcos
« on: June 03, 2022, 05:51:35 AM »
The National Museum of the Philippines is deeply honored by the official announcement of the choice of its National Museum of Fine Arts in Manila as the venue for the inauguration of the 17th President of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., on June 30, 2022.

Formerly the Legislative Building, a declared National Historical Landmark first erected in 1926 and rebuilt after World War II in 1949, the National Museum has for several decades since the 1970s conscientiously maintained and preserved the building as a historical structure of the highest importance while installing within its halls the largest public assemblage of Philippine fine arts that can be accessed by the Filipino people and our friends and visitors from all around the world.

To allow for special preparations and arrangements to be presided over by the Inauguration Committee, we will need to close the National Museum of Fine Arts temporarily.

Please be notified that the National Museum of Fine Arts at the Old Legislative Building, Padre Burgos Drive, Manila, will be closed from Monday, June 6, until Monday, July 4. It will reopen on Tuesday, July 5, at 9 a.m.

The National Museum of Anthropology and National Museum of Natural History will continue regular operations until further notice.

We apologize for any inconvenience, and express our thanks for your understanding.

Everyone can be assured that we at the #NationalMuseumPH will do our utmost to support this forthcoming momentous event of the presidential inauguration.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
