Cebu Parklane International Hotel is proud to announce the return of Hunat Sugbu, the annual fun run that has become one of the most anticipated events in Cebu. This year's run is especially significant as it marks the tenth anniversary of the event, appropriately named Hunat Sugbu X. The fun run will take place on June 18, 2023.
This year, Landers Cebu will provide support throughout the event. Hunat Sugbu has grown exponentially since its inception as a commemorative event honoring Parklane's late president, Mr. Manuel G. Ting, from 300 runners in its first year to approximately 2500 registrants in 2019. The event has become a unifying force in the Cebu community, bringing together people from all walks of life in a fun and socially conscious way.
Moreover, this year's event is not only about promoting wellness but also giving back to the community. Proceeds of the fun run will be donated to a medical mission as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
There will be four race categories: 3k, 6k, 12k, and 21k. All participants will be treated to a delicious meal, as well as giveaways and raffle prizes, when they cross the finish line. The various CPIH departments will staff water stations to ensure that all runners are adequately hydrated.
