GreAtMinds' Bravehearts' Yora Dale Bongato bested 300 aspiring teens during GMA 7's Regional Auditions for this year's Starstruck V.
Last September 5-6 & 12-13, 2009 at the SM City Cebu Carpark, Yora, together with fellow Bravehearts Halcyon Abraham Ramirez, Camille Erika Berou and Rasec Marc Ortega showcased the Boholano talent amidst a crowd of mostly Cebuano audience.
Of the 300 aspirants only 20 made it to the final call back and Bohol's very own Yora Bongato proved that Boholanos indeed got talent.
She and the rest of the finalist will undergo a week-long workshop come September 21-26 in Cebu City. Finally on September 27, still in Cebu City, Yora has yet to prove that she has what it takes to compete for Starstruck Nationals to be held in Manila.
Yora as fondly called by family and friends is a senior student at Bohol Wisdom School.
She is the 3rd child of Mrs. Zita Bongato of Cogon District this city. Yora has been actively joining Model Search, Modeling (ramp/ photo) and just recently Theater (GreAtMinds' Bravehearts: Buhi sa Kanunay). Should she make it through the Regionals, Yora will represent Bohol in the National level of Starstuck V. - bohol chronicle
