Also, we would like to extend our gratitude to the LGUs, private organizations and other donors who coordinated and directed their assistance to the Emergency Operations Center in Amas, Kidapawan, Makilala, Kidapawan City, Arakan, Tulunan and M’lang.
The Provincial Government is on top of the situation. In fact several Incident Management Teams are operating on the ground with the purpose of ensuring a concerted and coordinated effort, working hand in hand with their respective Emergency Operations Center. The EOC and IMT are instrumental in ensuring smooth disaster management operations. Also, we are coordinating with the Regional DRRM Council for possible augmentation of manpower and other resources. We are mobilizing resources appropriately, and in coordination with their respective DRRM Office. Our partners from
MGB and PHIVOLCS are also working non-stop to ensure that accurate assessment reports are generated.
We understand your concern, especially with all sorts of news being projected in different media plotforms. However, we would like to appeal to everyone to stop spreading unverified reports. Disasters spare no one, and we are managing as One Cotabato.
