The highly coveted multi-billion project to be built in Mindanao which aims to shorten travel time in traversing the Mindanao provinces is set to be constructed in the second quarter of 2021.
For this, LGU-Tagum is at full throttle to complete the pre-construction phase of the project which includes land development, land acquisition and transfer of title among others, since the construction will commence in Tagum by next year.
Pegged at Php 82-Billion, the Phase 1 of this Mindanao Railway Project is stretched covering Tagum, Carmen, Panabo, Mudiang, Magtood, Toril, Sta. Cruz, and Digos City.
Hype-worthy as it is, the Tagum City Train Station which will showcase modern structural designs is set to be erected at a 3-hectare land in Mankilam in addition to the 10-hectare land to be used as the project depot.
