SINAS: MOA WITH PGH ASSURES COPS OF MEDICAL CARE

Press Release: The Philippine National Police signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) for the medical aid and treatment of wounded police personnel.

During simple ceremonies at Camp Crame on Monday, PNP Chief Police General Debold M Sinas and PGH Director, Dr. Gerardo P. Legaspi signed the Memorandum of Agreement that provides medical care to police officers wounded “in the line of duty” through a Letter of Authorization (LOA), that guarantees the payment of medical services rendered to the PNP personnel.

According to Dr, Legaspi, PGH will provide diagnosis and treatment ranging from interventional cardiac procedures, major operations, to robotic surgery, as well as the use of the hospital’s medical equipment and facilities, from admission to release.

The “Line of duty” status is determined if the policeman is engaged in actual police operations or during hot pursuit of criminals and organized crime syndicates; and while in the performance of official duties from the time of departure at their residence and to the time and place of reporting for work, up to the time of departure from work (at the place of duty).

Sinas expressed his utmost appreciation to PGH for its support of  PNP personnel. (PNP-PIO)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
