ICYMI: PCG AVIATION FORCE CELEBRATES 23RD ANNIVERSARY
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Aviation Force celebrated its 23 Founding Anniversary at the Department of Transportation (DOTr) Hangar, Domestic Airport Road, Pasay City on 19 May 2021.
During the activity, PCG Deputy Commandant for Operations, Vice Admiral Leopoldo Laroya recognized the invaluable contributions of the late Commander Glenn Mago to the humanitarian armed service by bestowing him the PILOT OF THE YEAR award. He was also presented the Senior Pilot and Instructor Pilot ratings and badges.
Commander Mago died due to severe pneumonia on 16 March 2021.
