In his message during the Agency’s Flag Raising Ceremony earlier today, NIA Deputy Administrator for Administrative and Finance Sector Ralph Lauren A. Du expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all employees who took part in the successful conduct of the NIA Spillway Christmas Tree Lighting Program and Christmas Lantern Making Program on December 2, 2022.
Deputy Administrator Du also announced the qualification of the Agency for the grant of Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) Incentives amounting to P23,000.00 for all qualified employees. Being advocates of employee empowerment, NIA Top Management Officials ensure the provision of just and rightful compensation and benefits to all NIA employees as key players of irrigation service excellence.
Under Administrative Order No. 135, Series of 2005, government employees are authorized to receive CNA Incentives. Other legal bases include the Congress Joint Resolution No. 4, s. 2009, specifically Item (4)(h)(ii)(a), and Section 73 of the General Provisions of the General Appropriations Act (GAA) of FY 2021.
