Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Jose Ruperto Martin Andanar leads the formal opening of the Mindanao Media Hub in Davao City on March 18, 2021.
The PhP700 million state-of-the-art facility houses different government communication agencies such as the PCOO’s satellite office in Davao City, People’s Television Network, Inc. (PTV), Philippine News Agency (PNA), Philippine Information Agency (PIA), APO Production Unit, Inc. (APO), Radyo Pilipinas and Presidential Broadcast Staff – Radio Television Malacañang (PBS-RTVM).
It would serve as the government’s main broadcast hub for Regions 10 to 13 and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio graces the opening of the Mindanao Media Hub that aims to serve the Mindanaoans and expand the reach of government media in several regions across Mindanao Island.
