The kids are really saddened that schools will remain closed even in areas where there is hardly any infection. More so their parents who are depressed that their kids could still not get proper schooling. A year of education has been lost that can never be restored. What a real waste!
Meanwhile, a more nuanced approach to reopening the country is urgently necessary - neither a wholesale shutdown nor a reckless nationwide MGCQ, but a case-to-case assessment of each locality's specific healthcare situation.
