Gov. Art Yap visits Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) general manager Engr. James Gantalao at the Tagbilaran City Port where they discussed expansion of Bohol ports. The Tagbilaran City Port alone has an average passenger traffic of 9,000-10,000 per day. In the whole of Bohol, passenger traffic is 25,000 daily in the ports of the city, Tubigon, Ubay, Jagna, Talibon, Loon, and Getafe. In the last year, there has been a 15% increase in passenger traffic and is seen to increase even more in the next 5-7 years with developments in ports set to be completed in the next 2 years.
