In her recent online conversation with PIA Director General Ramon Cualoping, Davao City Mayor Duterte agrees that PIA should be given all the support it needs to “roll out all the information needed by the public,” for people to know the affairs of the government.
She commits to support the bill soon to be filed in Congress to strengthen and widen the mandate of PIA into a communications and information department of the national government.
