DPWH TO CONDUCT WEEKEND REPAIR WORKS ON EDSA, C5 ROAD
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will resume this weekend the road repair activities along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Circumferential Road 5 (C-5)
According to DPWH – National Capital Region (NCR) Director Eric A. Ayapana, the road rehabilitation works will be carried out from 11 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2021 until 5 a.m., Monday, July 5, 2021
along a section of EDSA, covering the southbound direction from after Biglang Awa Street, 2nd lane from sidewalk in Caloocan City.
Reblocking activities at C5 Road, Quezon City will cover sections after Rosa Alvero, 2nd lane from center island; and before Rajah Matanda, 3rd lane from sidewalk.
DPWH – NCR secured prior clearance and coordination with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) in anticipation of expected traffic slowdown along areas covered by the weekend road repair.
