ANOTHER MILESTONE IN PHILIPPINE MARITIME HISTORY
Tomorrow, we are about to witness the inauguration of the three (3) amongst the 424 seaport projects completed by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) since 2016.
These are the ports of San Fernando, Bataraza, and Borac in Palawan.
The realization of these port development projects is a true manifestation of the zeal and commitment of the DOTr, under the strong-willed leadership of Secretary Arthur Tugade, and the PPA, headed by General Manager Jay Daniel Santiago, to deliver vital port infrastructure that will enhance INTER-ISLAND CONNECTIVITY AND MOBILITY, which shall then lead to a more progressive economic growth and sustenance to the region.
Not just ONE. Not TWO.
But THREE significant PORT projects, in one of our fastest-growing and world-famous island province.
