DAVAO CITY 1ST CITY-WIDE
CULTURE OF SECURITY COMMUNITY EXERCISE
As part of Davao City's Culture of Security campaign, Task Force Davao (TFD) will test how Dabawenyos cooperate with authorities and react to reports of terrorist presence in this upcoming exercise.
Mechanics and Guidelines:
1. The community exercise will happen ANY TIME NEXT WEEK, covering the entire city of Davao. The public, especially Dabawenyos, are encouraged to participate in this exercise.
2. The public is also advised to avoid panicking as this is only a simulation exercise.
2. During the exercise, twenty-five (25) actors disguised as ‘terrorists’ will be deployed to various locations within Davao City (5 churches, 5 hotels/inns, 5 restaurants, 5 malls, and 5 government establishments).
3. Dabawenyos are expected to report these suspicious individuals based on the specific descriptions to be announced by the City Government of Davao through PSSCC, Davao City Disaster Radio, and other local media outlets.
4. To report, they may call the following Hotline Numbers: TFD Smart: 0999 227 1111, TFD Globe: 0917 131 4333, DCPO Globe: 0916 659 2576, and/or 911.
5. The actors will be supervised by personnel from TFD/Davao City Police Office to ensure their own security in case the exercise may trigger negative reaction from the public. Anytime the exercise may also be declared terminated for safety reasons.
6. Once the "terrorist" is reported, it will be counted as “neutralized†by the sector.
IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER: THIS IS A COMMUNITY EXERCISE. DO NOT PANIC.
