Press Release: The Philippines on Monday, June 28, received one million more doses of CoronaVac vaccines, the fifth batch from China’s Sinovac Biotech to arrive this month.
The latest batch brings to 6.5 million the number of CoronaVac doses delivered to the country this June. To date, Sinovac has shipped 12 million doses of its vaccines to the Philippines since February.
The vaccines were received at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport by NTF COVID-19 Chief Implementer and vaccine czar Sec. Carlito G. Galvez Jr. and Health Sec. Francisco Duque III.
