FACTS ABOUT PANGUIL BRIDGE , Thank you PNOY
1) The cost of Panguil Bay Bridge is P7.8 billion Pesos funded by the Korean Govt thru THE KOREAN EXPORT-IMPORT BANK.
2) The contract between the Philippines and Korea to construct Panguil Birdge was signed in April 20, 2016 during the Administration of Pres Pinoy Aquino, before the 2016 Presidential election.
The contractor is NAMKWANG ENGINEERING AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION.
3) The construction started in 2020 during the Administration of Pres. Duterte.
4) The construction was finished in Sept.17, 2024 and turned over to the DPWH during the Administration of Pres. Marcos..
