Hinikayat ni Senator Bong Go ang mga komunidad na maging mas maingat at mapagmatyag sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalakas sa kanilang fire safety efforts kasunod ng pagsasabatas ng Bureau of Fire Protection Modernization Act of 2021, kung saan si Go ang prinsipal na may-akda at naging co-sponsor sa Senado ng nasabing batas.
Kasabay nito, namahagi ang kanyang tanggapan ng ayuda para sa 37 biktima ng sunog sa Butuan City, Agusan del Norte noong Oktubre 28.
Nagkaloob din ng hiwalay na tulong sa mga nasunugan ang DSWD, DTI, DOLE, TESDA at NHA.
