I am grateful and deeply humbled by this new role entrusted to me by the President which come with it the responsibilities the office bears to improve the quality of civil servants and be a globally-recognized center for excellence in human resource and organizational development.
I am grateful to everyone I worked with in Malacañang during my tenure as Cabinet Secretary, as Chair of Task Force Zero Hunger, Co-Chair of the IATF, and acting Presidential Spokesperson. It has been an honor serving with all of you during one the most challenging times in our country’s recent history.
I have learned so much these past years serving in the executive and legislative branches of government, and I hope to bring these lessons with me as I take on my new role in the Civil Service Commision to make government services more efficient, more inclusive, and more accessible to the Filipino people through responsible, effective and professional civil servants.
Looking forward to realizing this vision with the help of my fellow workers in government!
Mabuhay po kayong lahat! Daghang Salamat kaninyong tanan!
