Cesar B. Chavez took his oath today as the Acting Presidential Communications Secretary.
Prior to this, Acting Sec. Chavez served as the Senior Undersecretary for Strategic Communications at the Presidential Communications Office and Undersecretary for Railways at the Department of Transportation under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
Acting Sec. Chavez is a career executive bringing over three decades of public service experience, having served under seven presidential administrations. He is widely recognized for his work in overseeing major infrastructure projects, particularly in rail, and his expertise in policymaking, budget processes, and legislative oversight. His deep familiarity with both grassroots communities and national-level projects makes him a vital asset in his new role.
