Engr. Amiel A. Riparip, Head of the Office of the Waterworks of the Local Government Unit of Panglao, announces the start of the data collection conducted by hired enumerators to households of Panglao town.
The activity, which started yesterday and will last until the end of May 2021, is technically assisted by the United States Agency for International Development Agency (USAID) through the Strengthening Urban Resilience for Growth with Equity (SURGE) Project.
The project aims to establish a Geographic Information System (GIS) database and dashboards for the Municipality of Panglao. To realize this, SURGE intends to conduct geotagging to survey all current water or concessionaires of the town using a mobile-based survey method and Global Positioning System (GPS).
Moreover, Engr. Riparip appeals very kindly to all the residents of Panglao, who may become respondents to the survey, to cooperate willingly for a more reliable and efficient result of the data gathered. Press Release
