Philippine Army, U.S. Army Pacific hold CBRN exercise

Philippine Army (PA) troops trained with their U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) counterparts in responding to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear (CBRN) threats in a four-day exercise that concluded on April 1, 2022 in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.

The exercise—which is among the eight PA-USARPAC combined interoperability drills that cover a spectrum of military operations —is geared at honing the interoperability and readiness of Filipino and U.S. forces in responding to CBRN threats. PA's Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Battalion and USARPAC personnel held lectures and practical exercises on mitigating and responding to CBRN attack scenarios.

Dubbed as the largest-ever iteration of Balikatan, around 8,900 Filipino and U.S. servicemen are taking part in the 12-day training exercises geared at strengthening interoperability and improving both militaries' readiness to respond to various security threats and crises.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. - John 3:16-18
