Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Negros Oriental Field Unit (Nofu) arrested two men for alleged illegal hauling in Barangay Isugan in Bacong town, Negros Oriental on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
They identified the suspects as James Bello Caño, a 25-year-old driver from Barangay Sulodpan, and Eliseo Irlanda Isik Sr., a 51-year-old resident of Isugan.
Police went to the site at 12:20 p.m. after receiving reports that several men were hauling gravel and other minerals in the area.
They found and arrested Caño and Isik, who were allegedly caught in the act. Two others who were identified as Danny and Royroy were able to flee when they saw police arrive. | via BBT
