KAWIT, Cavite – As a public service and assistance to motorists, travelers and vacationers, the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (CAVITEx) issued on Thursday friendly reminders and tips to have a safe and pleasant trip and meaningful celebration for “Undas 2017.”
Road Safety Tips:
- Plan your trip ahead.
- Check your BLOWBAG (Brake, Light, Oil, Water, Battery, Air (Tire Pressure) and Gas).
- Get enough sleep before beginning a long drive.
- Bring an Early Warning Device, Good Spare Tire, Jack and Cross wrench.
- Drive at a safe speed and always observe the speed limit.
- Always wear your seat belt and ensure that your passengers do the same.
- Pull over and take breaks every couple of hours, even if you don't feel sleepy.
- Do not use a mobile phone while driving.
- Do Not Overload your vehicle.
- Observe proper lane utilization, i.e. Trucks, buses and slow-moving vehicles - keep right.
- Secure your cargo.
