DAGUPAN CITY – The Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines, Thanatip Upatising, and his wife Monthip on Friday paid a courtesy call on Mayor Belen Fernandez after visiting Thai students enrolled at the Lyceum University (LNU) in this city.
The Ambassador said he and his wife wanted to see how well the Thai students were doing in their studies and in their stay in Dagupan City.

On his part, Ambassador Thanatip extended his invitation to Mayor Fernandez to visit Thailand this November.
The mayor also expressed interest in learning Thailand’s best practices in agriculture.
“This is one good opportunity for us to learn Thailand’s best practices in agriculture and One Town One Product which comes at an appropriate time when we are cleaning our rivers," Fernandez said.
