ICYMI: Nilagdaan na kamakailan ang implementing rules and regulations (IRR) ng Republic Act No. 11997 o Kabalikat sa Pagtuturo Act sa pangunguna ni DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara kasama sina Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla na awtor ng nasabing batas, Senate President Francis Escudero, Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, Sen. Joel Villanueva, Sen. Imee Marcos, Sen. Cynthia Villar, ACT Teachers Rep. France Castro, at Cavite Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla.


Sa pamamagitan ng bagong batas, tax-free at tataas sa Php5,000 ang annual teaching allowance ng mga guro ngayong taon mula sa dating Php3,500 at magiging Php10,000 naman sa susunod na pampanuruang taon.
