>SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 1,155 km East Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon (24.1°N, 132.5°E). Southwest Monsoon affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.
>Forecast Weather Condition:
>>Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, and Central Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains
>>Mindanao, Cavite, Batangas, and the rest of MIMAROPA and Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms
>>Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms
>Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Condition:
>> Light to Moderate winds from Northwest to Southwest will prevail over Luzon. Coastal waters will be Slight to Moderate / (0.8 to 2.1 meters)
>>Light to Moderate winds from Southwest will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao. Coastal waters will be Slight to Moderate / (0.6 to 1.5 meters)
