President Benigno S. Aquino called on the Filipino people to unite against corruption and to continue supporting government projects for a better Philippines.
In his New Year’s message, President Aquino said the fight is not yet over. There still many reforms that need to be implemented in country.
“Hindi pa tapos ang laban. Marami pa tayong dapat baguhin. Marami pa rin ang nagnanais na manatili ang katiwalian at maibalik tayo sa kadiliman,†President Aquino said.
The President exhorted the people to strengthen their unity in doing the right things and not to give up and not to wander away from the light that is already in sight.
“Kung patuloy tayong magkakaisa, magiging mas makabuluhan ang mga hakbang na magagawa natin upang sa wakas ay makamtan na natin ang ating mga pangarap.â€
