𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐏 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐆𝐋 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬
The Manila International Container Port (MICP) met with Super Green Lane (SGL) companies to enhance coordination on November 15 at the MICP in Tondo, Manila.
Atty. Marlon Agaceta, Chief of Staff of the District Collector of the MICP and Mr. Antonio Meliton Pascual, member of the Multi-Sectoral Advisory Council, presided over the forum.
Cris John Garcia, President of the SGL Association, and representatives from various SGL companies attended.
The streamlining and facilitation of procedures of SGL shipments at the Port and the solutions for problems in the daily operations of releasing SGL shipments were discussed by the participants.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss how to simplify and expedite cargo clearance processes and ensure the collection of lawful revenues, border protection, while catering to the needs of major clients of the Port.
District Collector Arnoldo Famor and Atty. Agaceta assured that the MICP shall remain true to its commitment to facilitating the expeditious discharge of their shipments in line with the order of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and of Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz.#
