SITUATIONAL REPORT ON NATIONAL ROADS AND BRIDGES DUE TO SEVERE TROPICAL STORM “PAENG” AS OF OCTOBER 29, 2022, 12:00NN
Thirty-four (34) road sections are closed to traffic: three (3) in CAR, three (3) in Region II, one (1) in Region III, one (1) in Region V, sixteen (16) in Region VI, four (4) in Region VIII, one (1) in Region IX, one (1) in Region XII, and four (4) in BARMM due to rockfall, soil collapse, road cut, road slip, mud flow, damaged bridge approach, high water elevation/flooding, uprooted tree, road depression, settlement of pier, possible occurrence of landslide, collapsed bridge, and soil erosion.
Also, seven (7) road sections have limited access: one (1) in Region VI, five (5) in Region VIII and one (1) in Region XII due to flooding, soil collapse, and scoured bridge approach.
All other national roads and bridges in other affected regions are passable to all types of vehicles as of captioned date and time.
