Read: President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, through Administrative Order No. 39, authorized the grant of a one-time financial assistance of P20,000 to Employees’ Compensation (EC) pensioners to benefit more or less 31,000 pensioners of the Philippine Social Security System - SSS and the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS).
The Employees Compensation Commission (ECC) is authorized to grant the financial assistance of P20,000 to EC pensioners in the public and private sectors for permanent partial disability, permanent total disability, and survivorship, subject to the availability of funds and pertinent laws, rules, and regulations.
